Halloween doesn't have to be scary

Maybe you've had enough of the unremitting scariness of Halloween? It doesn't have to be that way. The name Halloween is just a contraction of All Hallows Eve, the evening before All Saints Day and a time to remember and honour Christian saints and martyrs.

At Holy Trinity we've turned 'trick or treat' into 'treat or treat' - a time for fun and enjoyment. Join us in church for treats and more treats from 4.30 to 6.30pm on Saturday 31st October. Better still, come along to the church hall on Friday 30th October from 4 to 5.30pm for pumpkin carving, then come back on Saturday to see your pumpkin(s) on display in the church. Whether you're saints, martyrs, angels or a bit of each, they'll be a warm welcome for all the family at Holy Trinity's All Hallows celebrations.

  • Friday 30th October at 4pm: Pumpkin Carving in the church hall.

  • Saturday 31st October at 4.30pm: Treat or Treat in church.
