Rev Claire Abraham - our new Priest
What a joy it is to welcome Mother Claire Abraham as our new Priest.
On the 18th April Bishop Adam of Bradwell presided over a joyful ceremony at which Mthr Claire was installed as Priest in Charge of Holy Trinity Southchurch and St Mary The Virgin North Shoebury.
Mthr Claire said "I am absolutely delighted that so many people from the congregations and wider community along with ministry colleagues, family and friends came along to share such a joyful service. I'm very excited to begin my ministry in these wonderful parishes.”

The Licensing of Rev Claire Abraham
The Southchurch, Shoebury and Southend community came together, with well over 100 people in church to welcome Mthr Claire. Sublime music, heartfelt greetings and moments of prayer and reflection combined to create a solemn yet joyful occasion. Bishop Adam added his own special character to proceedings, so the entire congregation felt blessed.
The next day Mthr Claire was welcomed as the mayor's chaplain at a civic dinner for Essex mayors and chairs, with the Lord Lieutenant of Essex, at Porters.
